Have you ever felt like you aren’t enough, no matter how hard you try?
Hope isn’t about fixing what’s broken; it’s about discovering the strength you’ve always had.
You Are Enough, Just as You Are
In a world filled with challenges—whether in parenthood, health, or navigating a career path—there’s a powerful force that can drive change and inspire growth: hope.
The name More Than Enough came to me as inspiration and a constant reminder. Through More Than Enough, I aim to remind everyone of this truth:
We are enough just as we are. A lot of the time, we are even MORE than that.
My hope is to share lessons, life experiences, and insights into mindful living to inspire others.
Life should not always be about striving endlessly to achieve more. I discovered that real transformation actually comes from letting go—releasing the things that somehow landed on us during life but don’t truly belong to us. What remains after letting go is what truly matters. And that, I believe, is where our strength lies. We are more capable than we often give ourselves credit for, and what we are meant to manage is far greater than we originally thought.
I must selfishly admit that I created this name for myself too—to constantly remind myself that I am more than enough. Believe me, I fall very easily into old patterns of trying to do more of everything while still feeling like I’m not enough unless I check all my own boxes of what should be done or achieved.
Now, I’ll share examples from my own experiences that can bring hope to you. My content here will consist of these and many more.
Finding Hope Through Healing: Overcoming Trauma
I’ve spent years navigating the weight of childhood traumas, and while I am far from “finished” (is anyone ever truly finished?), I’ve learned that hope grows when we commit to healing. For me, this has meant seeking help, trying various tools, and embracing self-help methods that resonate deeply.
Over time, I’ve noticed the weight of those traumas lessening. Each small step forward feels like proof that healing is possible—proof that no matter how heavy our burdens, we don’t have to carry them forever. I am living evidence of this: hope is available to anyone willing to pursue it, one moment at a time.
"Healing is not a destination; it’s a journey we undertake with hope as our guide.”
Showing Hope Through Working with Chronic Illness
Chronic illnesses and emotional struggles often feel like insurmountable obstacles, and I know this firsthand. There were many moments when I felt utterly hopeless, unable to find the right solutions through conventional means. But I’m here to share a different story.
My lifelong back pain, for example, required relentless effort—trying, failing, trying again—until I finally found relief. On the other hand, a persistent skin condition I struggled with for most of my life was resolved with one step I had no idea was connected to it at all.
These experiences taught me that hope often lies in the willingness to keep searching for answers, even when the path seems unclear.
Facing Parenthood Challenges with Hope
Parenting is one of the most profound yet demanding journeys one can undertake. It’s not just about the physical and emotional exhaustion that many parents face; it’s also the struggle of finding support that aligns with conscious and contact-based parenting values. When conventional advice fails to address the deeper, more mindful approaches you seek, it can feel isolating and overwhelming.
However, there is hope. With the right tools and support, every parent can create a nurturing environment for their child and themselves. My experiences, combined with evidence-based insights, offer practical advice for those navigating these challenges in a way that honors both their child’s needs and their own well-being.
Becoming a conscious mother was not a path I found easily. I was hopeless so many times (and I am not over it yet). I decided that my wish is to maintain good relationship with my child, above all. The mindfulness in this area of my life came from a deep desire to understand, to learn, and to grow alongside my child.
Early motherhood often felt like walking through a tunnel with no light in sight. In those hardest moments, I trusted my intuition and leaned into the belief that I could do this (a few times, I simply had no other choice). It wasn’t perfect—it never is—but struggles turned into growth. For me, conscious parenting is a journey of discovery, one that continues to teach me how to nurture both myself and my child.
If my parenting journey can help even one other parent and show them hope in challenging times, my mission will be fulfilled.
Highly Sensitive People are Hope
Living as a highly sensitive person (HSP) brings its own unique challenges, especially when navigating a world that often feels too loud, too fast, or too overwhelming. But I’ve learned that this sensitivity is not a weakness—it’s a strength that allows me to connect more deeply, feel more fully, and live more authentically.
I also believe there is hope for the world in highly sensitive people. I do not wish to brag, but this world desperately needs more compassion, understanding, and thoughtful attunement to both our own needs and those of others. This vital work feels perfectly suited to highly sensitive people.
Hope, for me, is about honoring this sensitivity—not just as a personal strength but as a guiding force for positive change in the world. It’s about finding ways to create balance, protect our own energy, and choose what truly aligns with our values.
“Every day, I remind myself that this sensitivity is part of what makes me “more than enough.”

Feeling stuck in a corporate job that doesn’t align with your values can be overwhelming, but there’s also hope. I am proof that you can break free and create a life and business that reflects your true self.
I share my journey of stepping away from the corporate environment, building my own platform, and manifesting a life that honors my passions.
My Journey to Transformation: Proof That Hope and Healing Work
I know that change is possible because I’ve lived it.
I’ve healed where doctors couldn’t explain the cause.
Overcome societal pressure to follow my own path.
Found ways to live consciously even as a highly sensitive person.
Whether it’s learning to protect your privacy online, making informed decisions that resonate with your true self, or finding balance as a sensitive person, I’m here to show you it can be done.
Creating a Community of Hope: Support, Connection, and Growth
I want More Than Enough to be more than just a blog—it’s a community where you can find belonging, safety, and understanding. This is a space where we openly share our experiences about personal growth, healing, and parenting without judgment or pressure.
"The power of community lies in its ability to offer a space where hope, understanding, and growth can thrive."
My hope is that through my experiences, you’ll find sparks of hope in your own life. Let’s build a life rooted in trust, healing, and the belief that we are, indeed, more than enough.
Looking Ahead
In the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing more about myself and the vision behind More Than Enough. You’ll get a deeper understanding of what has inspired this journey and how my experiences have shaped the content and message I aim to deliver. After that, we’ll dive into various topics—ranging from conscious parenting and managing high sensitivity to holistic health.
I’d love to know: What resonates with you? Are there particular themes or topics that you’re most curious about? Your thoughts and expectations are important to me, and they will help shape this space into one that serves our community best. Together, we can create a supportive, empowering environment where hope and growth are possible for all.
Selene, this is so beautifully written. These lines resonated so much with me:
We are enough just as we are. A lot of the time, we are even MORE than that.
Keep writing and best of luck for your journey! 💕
